Precautions

1. Before installation and commissioning, be sure to study the relevant installation manual and strictly follow its provisions.
2. Before construction preparation, ensure installation conditions are met; ensure building structure is understood and plans/countermeasures developed accordingly; ensure pipes/fittings meet standards and contaminants removed; ensure tools available and personnel trained and familiar with operations.
3. During construction, always pay attention to key points in the manual; strictly follow steps for safe, orderly, scientific installation; during pipeline laying, meet laying condition requirements.
4. After installation, pipeline system requires pressure testing acceptance; pressure testing process must comply with manual regulations; follow specified hydrostatic testing steps per manual; for drinking water pipelines, test water quality must meet GB/5749 *Sanitary Standard for Drinking Water* requirements.
5. After completion, perform item-by-item acceptance per manual, document, and properly store records.

Installation Guidelines

1. AIRpIPe thin-walled stainless steel pipes: plastic-coated cold and hot water pipes are available in DN15, DN20, ND25, DN32, DN40, DN50, DN60, DN65 models; insulated pipes in DN15, DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, DN50 models; bare pipes in DN15--DN600 models.
2. Pre-installation inspection. Before installation, check whether the material surface is intact, free of cracks, oxidation, deformation, or obvious scratches. For profiles, ensure uniform cross-section to avoid material defects affecting installation quality. Clean the surface before installation, remove dust and oil stains, and use appropriate cleaners for treatment.
3. Construction requirements. Cutting should use special tools suitable for the material to ensure processing quality and avoid unnecessary thermal influence. More advanced processing methods can be adopted for high-precision installation. Cutting error should be controlled within a reasonable range, and the cutting surface should be smooth without obvious deformation. Meanwhile, carry out deburring and chamfering treatment to reduce installation stress and improve connection quality.
4. Air tightness and pressure testing. For gas pipelines, conduct air tightness testing to ensure no leakage under specific pressure. For liquid pipelines, conduct pressure testing to ensure stable operation within the design requirements. Testing methods and parameters can be adjusted according to specific application needs.

Avoidable Situations

1. Pipes and pipe fittings shall be handled with care during loading, unloading and handling, avoid oil contamination, and shall not be thrown, dropped, rolled or dragged.
2. Pipelines shall not be climbed on, tied with safety ropes, used as scaffolding or supports, etc.
3. Stainless steel pipelines in the open air should avoid being placed under protective rails, steel flower beds and other lower areas, and try not to be connected with other metal pipes and fittings to avoid electrochemical corrosion. If unavoidable, measures against electrochemical corrosion should be taken.
4. In the passage points of stainless steel pipes and their surrounding areas, it is strictly prohibited to build water-using, water-storing, and water-discharging fixtures such as water tanks and washing tables, so as to avoid the corrosive environment possibly formed by improper installation.
5. The sodium hypochlorite solution used for cleaning stainless steel pipelines for drinking water should be rinsed off promptly and not stored in the pipeline to avoid corrosion.
